Hi & welcome!
I’m Molly Banks, LCSW. I have worked in a variety of settings, but found my true calling in providing compassionate therapy & guidance to pregnant and postpartum women who desire to improve their mental health, coping strategies, emotional awareness, and better manage stress and burnout.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and emotionally expressive; I believe these are the keys to building trust and connection, creating lasting change, thus experiencing a fulfilling life.
What I believe:
The main goal is to develop the tools to manage how your emotions impact you. The postpartum period can prove to be a vulnerable time where old and new anxieties surface. This can be adaptive and normal, but does not mean it isn’t challenging!
Therapy is for everyone! While I utilize evidence-based treatment models in my practice, I meet my clients where they’re at and create approachable and fluid treatment goals and, most importantly, a safe space to open up.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, young sons, and our pups at the beach, on a hike, or lounging at home.
